Fresh from her three week residency at Hawke's Bay's iconic beach, Cathy Carter presents her latest body of work, Waimarama, Reflecting on Water.
All welcome. Light refreshments will be served.
Cathy Carter will discuss her latest work and experiences during her Artist in Residency at Waimarama beach.
Playtime is finally here... Over 50 Tondo's by anonymous artists for sale at $300 each.
Invite friends and family to celebrate the creative efforts of everyone who has contributed to this colourful exhibition. Light refreshments will be served.
There will be something for everyone's art taste! All welcome.
Playtime exhibition will run from 12 December - 24 December 2017.
We are excited to have local artist Kate MacKenzie showcase a mini selection of her works at Muse pre-christmas.
Come along to Muse on Friday 24th November 2017 between 5.30 - 7.00pm to meet contemporary jeweller Macarena Bernal.
Enjoy a complimentary glass of bubbles and nibbles... plus if you're feeling creative you can out together your own unique piece of jewellery on the night.

We invite you to join us for A Feast For The Senses, happening two nights only, 19 Gr 25 October. This event is a playful collab between Muse, Malo, and Smith & Co. designed to tease, excite and challenge you... just a bit.
Malo will serve a three course meal in the gallery, amidst the upcoming group show, Colour Sense, featuring work by Tyler Jackson, Fraser Chatham, Trish Campbell and Muse’s own Kage McGarva. Malo's Jackson Smith takes his cue for the menu from the exhibition, while Michael Henley of Smith & Co matches the wines. It promises to be a very different gallery experience!

Registration is now closed for artists who would like to participate in our Summer group show, Playtime.
A 30 cm tondo (round board of MDF) will be available free of charge for artists to collect from the gallery, between September 1st and November 3rd.
Note: Artists must register with us before they come in to pick up a tondo. One per artist, unless otherwise agreed.
The theme is "playtime", so artists can interpret that in any way they see fit, with their choice of medium. The finished artworks need to be returned to the gallery between 10am November 28 and 4pm December 1st.
The best 100 tondos will be exhibited in the gallery from 14 December to 24 January. All works will be for sale for $300 each, with the gallery taking its usual commission.
Tondos that aren't accepted to be sold for $300, or remain after the exhibition, will be sold by silent auction with no reserve, or available for artists to take home.
